prayer meeting.

Prayer meeting today was just,
awesome.
Finally, God answered my prayer.
Though in my perspective, it was at the wrong time, wrong place.
But i believe God knew better.

And,
Heavenly Father,
i really really really thank you for answering that small little prayer,
that mere cry from my heart.

Lord,
you never fail to amaze me.

This song is just AMAZING. I happened to ter-listen this song in the car. I dont usually purposely, or rather, listen to music intentionally. I always listen to them because i 'happen' to be there. But this song really 'shook' me. The writer was Mike Guglielmucci (please tell me if i spelt it wrong, ok?) and he had cancer right? (Yaya.. i know most of you all know that already.. hehe.) But in the song, he writes (parts of the song):

I love the lyrics. Its just amazing. And it just speaks volumes of the faith he has. The mere words of 'I trust in You' and 'I believe..' are just filled with 'unspeakable faith'. I love this song. This is the first time i am listening to a song so many times, because i want to, and not because there is a need to.

Lord, thank you for this song.

Lord, strengthen my faith. Help me to love you more and more and more. Even when troubles and trials come, Lord, i want to stand, and believe that nothing is impossible for YOU.

Went for marshalling yesterday and today (for the whole day). Hmm.. it was quite tiring. More troublesome than tiring because the stadium is so far. Haha..

Anyway, one good thing about marshalling is.. able to watch people run run run!!! Well.. ONE good thing. Only. Hah. I got the priviledge to watch the 8000m event yesterday, and today. I really really respect those people man.. 8000m leh!!! 20 rounds. Imagine the determination. The sweat. The panting. The training. The competition. Its not simple at all.

Ya, of course i also watched alot of types of competitions lah.. The jumping. The throwing. The running. I saw tears. I saw joy. Different people. Different passions. All competing. Maybe against each other, maybe against his/herself, maybe against time. I just admire the determination.

You know who i admire the most? The small kids. Yups. Its not because i like kids lah. Haha. (I dont really like kids.) Ya, the small kids. They are so young!! And they are already representing their district. Isnt that amazing? I really look up to them. (though they are shorter than me. hahaha.. ) Maybe many people dont find that amazing, coz it's like.. 'Ya, they got talent. So?' But not for me. They never fail to amaze me. *Lord, thank you for kids. And thak you for their amazing talents.*

Somehow, i like marshalling. Yet, hate it. It just reminds me of unspoken dreams.

Yups. I am burnt. Especially my back and arms. And they hurt like crazy. The skin. Every litte movement, even when i am lying down.. Hurts. argh.. Dont laugh lah.. I should have put some sunblock before i swam. Ya, i learnt my lesson.. But still. I dont regret the swim yesterday. =)

swimming!!

Hm.. i started my morning with reading some Psalms. And i stumbled upon this passage, and i really liked it. =)


The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul.
The statues of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
The percepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.

Anyway, after that i went swimming!! With who? Ma qianyi!!!!!! =D It was great great GREAT!! Wow.. it has been quite some time since i swam. It felt really good. We swam and played and splashed and talked and swam and talked and swam and talked and played some more. Swimming is really awesome. Though tiring, there will be a sense of 'satisfaction'. And ma qianyi is quite good at swimming!! A very good swimming partner too!! You'll never get bored!!! Heheheh.. We went there at about 10 and was there for around 3 1/2 hours leh!! So long right?! When we came up.. our fingers were like dried raisins. hahha.. like old grandmother's fingers!! xD And i'm darker already!! Yay!!! Sunburnt somemore.. Qianyi said she looked like some african girl already!! Hahahahaha!!!

<--- *Btw,i thought that this picture was very cute and funny!! So i decided to post it up.. Hee.. =)

After swimming, my arms were like so lembik.. Dont even have strength to dry my hair or put my pants on!! Haha.. must swim more lah. Have better, stronger arms. =D It was really tiring. But it was really really good. Three and a half hours was worth it. The sunburns and the 'tiring-ness' was worth it too. Thanks ma qianyi!!! =D

Plus, the sun today was so bright and sunny!! x) *Lord, thank you for the bright bright sun!!*

So in future, especially this coming holiday.. i think i will be swimming more often. Anybody else wanna join? :)

Life is unfair. Agreed?

My explanation: Jesus died for us on the cross. He didnt do anything wrong. Not even one single teeny weeny sin. Yet he died on the cross. Life is unfair. Ok.. maybe that wasnt a very good explanation, because Jesus did it out of perfect obedience. But still i feel life is just UNFAIR. What about innocent people who died in the world trade centre, 11/9 incident? What about the uncountable children who get abused by their parents, just because their parents need some thing to let their anger out? What about the many cases of murder, rape, kidnapping? Innocent people die just because they were at the wrong place, at the wrong time. Life is unfair.



What about God? Is God fair? Is God a fair God? I think He is. The Bible says He is just, right? I think so. But then, why did He send Jesus to die on the cross eventhough he did nothing wrong? Because he loves us. So much. Too much. That he cant bear to see us go to hell.



Agreed?



Correct me if i am wrong. I dont know what post is this lah. Just felt like writing. I know very weird. Whateverlah..
