"sorry"

How much does this word cost you?

Your everything?

Your pride?

Or just, nothing much?

Recently, i've come to realize how much it costs to some, and how much it means to some. In a matter of 5 hours in school, i've heard these two sentences, one from a teacher, one from a friend:

"You all owe me an apology."

"I want her to say sorry to me."

Although both of them said it in a rather smiley way, i know they meant it.

Is it really important that others say sorry? Or is it more important that WE take the first step to just say "I'm sorry." (even if we are not in the wrong), or maybe to even just forgive silently? Is it really that important that we have to hear others who have wronged/hurt us, admit their wrong to us? Is it that important that "i am right, you are wrong"? Does it even matter? .......

For me, i think it doesnt really matter whether i owe you an apology, or whether you owe me a 'sorry'. All that matters, is that whatever that was broken is restored, or is beggining to restore.

SORRY

How much does it cost you?
