fwp + esp 7 + caroling =)
Hehe. Hi. It's been such a long time since a blogged.. Erm. Ya, i know fwp is like kinda long time ago.. But still must blog about it. =)
fast.wait.pray. (21st - 24th november, 08)
(Also can be known as for what purpose, as suggested by eunice. Hehe.) Fwp was something i was hesitating whether to go or not, at first.. At last, thankfully, i chose to go. Yay! :) Erm.. Basically, it was just fasting, waiting and praying. Haha. And no, it wasnt boring. Because God was there. He really was there, all the time. Though i didnt join the NITE of NITES (yah!!! How could i miss it?!! ...), all the prayer time before that amazing night was great as well. What made it even more greater, was the people! :D (yes! i miss them all!!) All of them had so much of passion to pray, so much fire in them. It was really really encouraging, and a great experience. I really dont regret going.. =)

esplosion 7 (11th - 14th december, 08)
Hmmm. Esp.. I think this year's esp is really simple, but very real. Very practical and real. The main drive for me to go to esp has always been salvation for my friends. But since this year, my friends couldnt make it (:( ), i went to esp, hoping that i would feel God close again. Not just close, very very close. I wanted to feel his heartbeat. I really really wanted to feel Him THAT close. Oh, one more thing i prepared my heart for was to for once, play on the stage only for an Audience of ONE. AUDIENCE OF ONE.
On the second night, i played for cheng yee's band. I was kinda scared i would screw up. Coz i was using a five string bass and kept getting the notes mixed up because of the extra string. Hehe. And also coz my fingers somehow seemed so kaku during practice.. I kept praying that i would only be onstage for an Audience of ONE. Only one. If i was showing off, i only wanted it to be for my Creator.
Well. In the end, i knew on that night, it WAS for only ONE. Well.. Praise God! =) Btw, it felt wonderful!
Also, on the third afternoon (i think), bryan made some alter calls.. So there i was, sitting down and listening to the alter calls he was making. "For those of you who are rejected..." Pass. "For those of you who..." Pass. I passed quite a few stuffs. Then i told God, "If there is an alter call for trusting in You, i will stand up." And just few seconds after that, bryan made an alter call for those who finds it hard to trust in God/people. I was like, okeayyyyyy God. Hehe. I'll never forget what happened. It's like, so perfect timing. Hah. And that day, i felt God very very very near as well. His voice at that time, was so assuring. And so, 'different' in a way. (yay. thank you God!) =)
Conclusion is, esp camp 2008 was great! :D
caroling (24th december 2008)
Yay!!!! Caroling!!!! Finally it came. After all the pratices and stuff, yay. :D Though we were abit behind time (or maybe, quite a lot), it was great. Though very tiring, and didnt have much energy towards the end of that day, everything was worth it. =)
To the musicians: Thanks for practicing and playing your instruments that night! Yah. I know its tiring to play for such a long period of time, and carrying your instruments around (especially the heavy drum thing. Sorry, i still dont know how to spell it. Hehe.).. But thanks! You guys did a great job!!! =)
To the conductors: Well done! :D Thanks for coming early for practices at times just to go through the songs. It takes courage to stand in front of all the people, and conduct.. But you people did it! Yay! Great job! =)
To the singing people, hehe.: You guys sang for almost 7++ hours straight!! =) Good job! Ya.. I know its really tiring, and the voice gets tired and softer, but thanks for pushing on! And thanks for coming for practices and all. :)
Jit: Thanks for helping me so much in this caroling thing, and thanks for driving the car too! Hehe. =)
Well, everybody did a great job. =) And im sure we had fun as well! (at least, i did. :D ) Thanks guys! And, merry christmas! =) Happy brithday Jesus! =)
